“The lotus flower is a reminder of the beauty that comes from change, the magic that a new beginning brings, and the seed of potential that’s buried in the most unlikely places.”

About Kendall Herr, LPC

Thank you for stopping by!

My name is Kendall and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and received a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Oregon State University- Cascades in 2019. I started my career as a high school counselor focusing on suicide prevention and helping advocate for students struggling with their mental health. I worked to try to eliminate the barriers that prevented them from being successful in school.

I then transitioned into private practice in 2022 because I wanted to be able to dig deeper and invest more time into each person. I started with focusing more on children and adolescents. I have recently been changing my focus to helping with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationships. I have been working towards specializing in helping people recover from codependency and women’s health (PMS, PMDD, infertility, perinatal and postpartum, body image, and more).

My Philosophy

Life is hard but you don't have to do it alone! Let's explore why life is hard for you and see what we can do to make it better. Things like depression, anxiety, relationship issues, work stress, and trauma make it really hard to be the best version of yourself. It changes the way you view yourself and the world around you and makes even the simplest things feel impossible. When you feel like you have lost yourself and don't know where to turn or what to do, that's where the work begins! Change can be possible if you are ready to open your heart and mind to new possibilities and face hard things.

I like to start by getting to know you and get an understanding of the journey you have taken to end up on my couch. This helps me get a better understanding of what your individual needs are and how to best help you. We can work together to come up with a plan to help you reach your goals using different modalities and interventions
